Everything Stays on Your Device

Smart Suspender stores all settings and preferences locally in your browser's storage. This includes:

  • Suspension timer preferences

Required to detect inactive tabs and suspend them. We don't read tab content, only check activity status.

Storage Permission

Used to save your preferences locally on your device. No cloud storage involved.

Active Tab Permission

Allows the extension to know which tab is currently active to avoid suspending it.

  • Verify there are no tracking mechanisms
